Hi All,
Like to know anyone tried to do transformation of calling digits for international calls? For example, as below
9.001! -> 9.008!
The digit 9 will be discarded at the gateway and the eventually calling transform will be 008!

Your question needs more elaboration. To my understanding you want to translate 9001 to 9008 and 9001 to just 008. there are 2 ways to do this either by num-exp or by Translation-rule. here is a sample
num-exp 9001 9008 --> this will globally change the number
or
translation-rule 10---> this has to be called from a dial-peer
rule 1 9001 008

Hi HTH,
The senario require transparent international dialing number for the users instead of trying to remember what international budget call the company have. For example the various internation budget calling number as below
001
002
013
019
018 and etc
convert to 008, this portion of translation have been done on the callmanager with no problem. However, the additional overseas numbers followed after the international digits cannot be append to it. eg 008!
Anyone got any idea??

Change your way of thinking.
instead of using 9.001!
try 9001.!
that way you delete 9001 and replace it with 9008 and then all didgits dialled afterwards are sent.
It also still means an IOS router can still have a simple 9T dial peer.

Thanks for your mail. It does helped a lot.
BTW, the issue has been resolved for multiple budget call extensions which require to convert to 9008! . The conversions require the Cisco IVR which does a query on SQL database which it will replace 9001 into 9008 before it throw the digits to CallManager. Great Stuffs and having fun here!
