Hi,
There are two people use same IP Phone with same DN. The reason why, because one people works on Mon, Wed, and Friday, another people works on Tue, Thru and Saturday.
All 6 lines use up for that particular IP Phone(7960). We dont want to create another extension.
Is that anyway to make two different Voice mail account on Same DN?? So when user press "messages" button, they can pick their mail box that they belong to.
Looks like mission impossible. But just asking.
Thanks

a real quick and dirty way to do it would be to have 3 voicemail boxes on that exten. The first one would be to a general greeting pointing to one of two call handlers. Press one to leave a message for john; press two to leave a message for jane. Are the six buttons used for speed dials or other DNs? If they are other dns just set the 2nd and third mailbox to the selected DNs. Each user would have to select their own DN and press the message button to go directly to their voicemail box. If this is not the case they would have to press * and then their mailbox number. Have the msg waiting light on both mail boxes pointing to the primary DN of the phone. This can cause a little confusion due to the fact that it will light no matter who has a message.
what you are truly wanting I do not believe can be done. Another option for different greetings is you could make two separate schedules one for monday wed friday and the other for tue thur and saturday. Use the open and closed greetings to alternate the greeting. Both clients would use the same voicemail box.
