UC on UCS

Hello,

I wanted to understand how do we calculate the no. of MCS ( say 7845 ) can be virtualized on a UCS C series box. Is there any table, document, etc. available ?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Abhishek,

Virtualization is not according to the number of MCS servers. Virtualization is done based on the applications to be virtualized.

We have different OVA tempalates which shows how many vCPUs are needed for each application.

A quick questions post this information :

I have summarized my requirement basis that. Can you suggest me if this can be achieved using C series product line. if Yes, then which one.. I am unable to find the specific document

Hey,

That depends on the number of users. If the number of users are less than 1000, you can use C200M2 server.

But if, the number of users are above 1000, go for C210M2 Servers.
