unity disk filling up

Unity server disk is starting to get full.

The bulk of the space is taken up by the mdbdata folder located in E:/programfiles/exchsrvr/mdbdata. Can I clear these out? WHat is this?

If I open up the folder there are a lot of 5mb e0000001.log files.

Your Exchange transaction logs are filling up your drive. You should probably move them and the message store to another drive.

Also, those logs are probably not being cycled... if you do regular full backup with a tape backup system like BackupExec they'll get cycled for you. If not, you'll want to turn on circular logging to keep them from bloating indefinitely.
