Using IP Phones w/ Bogen Multicom Paging/Intercom System

My company is installing IP phones in a school system that is using Bogen Multicom paging systems for their paging. I have been trying to integrate thier existing intercom, so that they can page from the IP phones. I have tried connecting to both FXS port and FXO port with no luck. I also have a route pattern in the Callmanager for this operation. Any replies to this topic will be helpful.

Thanks

No worries. It will work. Depending on the model of the Bogen, there are probably dip switches on it that enable it to work with FXO or FXS. I have gotten Bogen to work with FXO many times. You should not have to modify anything such as impendence or any stuff like that on the FXO port. Set up the FXOs with a dial-peer pots that points to them on the IOS box (and voip peer to CCM), go to CallManager and setup a route-patter that directs calls to that number to point to the corresponding IOS box, and that should be it. You should first verify that the call is getting to the port with a show voice port summary or something and then troubleshoot the physical connection to the TAMB (Bogen). Call Bogen, the number is on their website and there is no call back wait, they just answer! Just work with it and it will come up. Sorry I could not be more specific.
