VCS-C SIP/H323 Interop Problems after Upgrade to 8.6

After we had upgrade our VCS-Control from 7.2.1 to 8.6, we had Problems with an H323 Neighbour Gatekeeper, which is terminated on the VCS-C, to recieve Video on our TC Endpoints in SIP connection.

Signalling works fine. Call is established. no Video and Audio recieved and sent. But only from TC Endpoints. An DX80 witch is connected over CUCM and VCS-C works propper. what is the difference ? Media Portranges Looks fine.

If i Register the Endpoint with H323 everything works. But we would force our SIP Strategy

Any Ideas ?

Hi,

So you are doing interworking call between h323 endpoint registered on your H323 GK and SIP endpoints registered on the VCSc? Interworking calls utilized traversal calls on your VCSc using traversal media ports for RTP/RTCP.

Note that on VCS X7.x the default media port range from 50000-54999 and these ports range was changed to 36002-59999 in X8.x versions. The ports were set to wider range and the older range falls on the new range of ports. But I'm not sure how these ports behaves. These ports ranges are configurable on VCS. You can try to reconfigure to 50000-54999 range and test which you think worked on your setup before.

On the VCS Local zone > Traversal subzone > Traversal media port start to end
