Hi,
I created a standalone presentation in html but the videos are not played. The display shows the message "click here to download plugin.
I have unsuccessfully tried MPEG1, MP4 and h264 ts MPG2. With all of them I get the same message.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!

Sebastian,
Please upload the source HTML so i can look at the code. Is the video located
locally on the DMP or on a Web page? Have you tried using Flash as the video
contact?
Thanks

Sebastian,
I see..
the videos need to mpeg2 Transport Stream (mpeg2 or mpeg4 part10) or Windows Media (5.2 and stored locally).
Does the video work on the DMP if you use the complete VIDEO URL in the Media
URL field on the DMP-DM?

Yes,
This video works when I put it in a playlist and in Media Designer.
I have tried mpeg2 ts as well with same result.

The problem may be the videos are not being played in the "Video" Plane when you
use your URL in the prezo that is not DMD.
Try the URL (for VIDEO only) from the DMP-DM using the 2 different fields:
- Media URL (Video plane)
- URL to be displayed (Browser Plane)
I think this may be the problem.
Another thing to try is to create a Test Prezo using DMD which includes
all of the different media objects and then export it to your external server
or to the DMP itself. Then, select the appropriate URL for the location
on this test prezo and add it to the DMP-DM to see if it works.
This narrow down the issues...
Thanks

Media URL option works fine
URL to be displayed option shows the following options:
"What Bon Echo do with this file?
*Open with
*Save to disk
*Do this automatically for files like this from now on"
The presentation with DMD works fine on video but has low performance on image transitions and tickers.
Is it possible to download a plugin for the DMP`s browser?
Thanks

No, unfortunately, there are no ways to update the Browser on the DMP
or add plugins.
Sorry.

Hello.
Have you tried to make a standalone presentation? Does it really work?
On the one hand, creating the presentation from the DMD, I have limitations on the reproduction of images, flash and tickers (slow transitions).
On the other hand, creating a standalone presentation it improved those aspects but I can not play video.
Do you have something that is currently is running? How did you do it?
We have a 4400 dmp with v5.2 and do not have any decent presentation that actually works.
Thanks
