How can turn voice activity detection ON/OFF?

Hi,
Use the commands " vad " to turn voice activity detection on, and the " no vad " command to disable it. This is a valid command on both your dial peer statements and your voice ports. With dial peer statements VAD is enabled by default. With a voice port VAD is disabled by default.

Hi,
You can do this on the CallManager System Parameters.
There is a Mask Called "Silence Suppression System Wide".
Turn it to "False".

There is also a service parameter called "Silence Suppression with Gateways" also set this one to false.

well, in mode privileged it makes the following one:
step 1
Use command " conf t"
step 2
in "conf t" it writes " voice vad-time ?" then VAD it will be OFF.
