Hi,
I have cisco VG200 with 2 FXO cards, this gateway is an MGCP gateway
My question:
- It is possible to configure an MGCP Gateway with 2 callmanagers (No an Cluster but 2 Different server)?
Best Regards

For the ease of management we have moved all of our gateways to the MGCP services. What you are trying has been a headache for us. We have not been able to define an MGCP gateway on two separate Callmanagers also. Everything that I have read on CCO says this is not possible. I am not sure if Cisco ever plans to support this configuration either. So, in the interim we are routing calls to the Callmanager where the MGCP gateway resides. Which causes another problem for since we lose the voicemail number through the H323 intercluster trunk.
Good luck!

The reason for this is that there is no management between two CallManager clusters. Since CM controls the MGCP GW and knows port availability a CM in another cluster would not have the same view of the GW.
