Hi all,
We run a Cisco network with an Avaya PBX. It's an extensive network running Atm, Frame relay and isdn WANs with about 7000 calls per day.
I'm after a good VoIP diagnostics application with network monitoring a bonus. If anyone knows of any good packages please let me know.

NetIQ is very good and will give you everything you need. Their offering used to be a separate product called Vivinet Assessor but it has been rolled up into the standard AppManager product as a VoIP module.

Prognosis also makes a product that does what you want

Then there is the good ole' Cisco offering of ITEM

If you want to do network monitoring then the NetIQ solution is the most robust and flexible giving you a lot of options.
Prognosis can monitor other servers in your environment but don't have all of the offering that NetIQ has but what they do they do very well.
Cisco's product can get pretty good but you are not going to find the extra bells and whistles that it seems you are looking for.

Thanks very much. I have just started looking at netIQ, they offer a free trial period so I will check it out. The other I've not heard of but I'll check that out too.
