VoIP Gateway - ISDN call dropped when placed in hold by far end

Hello Team,

We have a ISR 3925 VoIP Gateway with a Primary ISDN line.

When in a call, the far end is placing on hold the call, the call is dropped, you can see the below traces:

*Jun 29 08:47:15.168: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- NOTIFY pd = 8 callref = 0xB2F5
Notification Ind i = 0xF9
*Jun 29 08:47:15.168: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: TX -> STATUS pd = 8 callref = 0x32F5
Cause i = 0x80E427 - Invalid information element contents
Call State i = 0x0A
*Jun 29 08:47:15.244: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- DISCONNECT pd = 8 callref = 0xB2F5
Cause i = 0x82EF - Protocol error; unspecified
*Jun 29 08:47:15.244: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: TX -> RELEASE pd = 8 callref = 0x32F5
*Jun 29 08:47:15.252: //6028174/D8BFF580000E/SIP/Msg/ccsipDisplayMsg:

Notification Ind i = 0xF9” is received when the far end places the call on hold.

After reply the “Notification Ind i = 0xF9“Cause i = 0x80E427 - Invalid information element contents”, the call is dropped by the service provider, receiving a “DISCONNECT” message.

We would like to understand why the VoIP Gateway is sending the "Cause i = 0x80E427 - Invalid information element contents" message, and if there is any possible setup to avoid it.

Please, find attached the SIP and ISDN file with debug traces.

Best regards!
Miquel Bover
