when I boot my AS5300 I always see this message.. does it have implications if it will support all hardware?
Firmware version mismatch for bundle AS5300 VCWare
- version found (7.23) is lower than minimum required (7.39)
Firmware version mismatch for bundle AS5300 C549
- version found (3.4.35l) is lower than minimum required (3.4.50L)

The output that you see is
also visibile with the command "show vfc X
version vcware".
Other than the output of these messages,
the version check has no other effect.
However, you may want to check the release-notes
to see that you have the most recent
VCWare code.

It is very important to MATCH the vcware to the IOS using the matrix on the web, see below:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_serv/5300/sw_conf/vcwrmtrx.htm
If you do not closely match the vcware to IOS, it will cause many complications, and this is the first issue we always try to rule out when troubleshooting voice and vcware and DSP problems.
After you match the vcware, which you can download from URL below, the error msg should disappear Also be sure to put the CORRECT technology if you have C549 or C542. Makes a great difference.

Hope this helps.
