This is more of an FYI than a question.
I have been testing the Windows 10 Technical Preview. The machine has CUPC 8.6.4 installed. The build 10041 of the technical preview has broken the CUPC software.
When I try to launch CUPC, I get a pop up window telling me I need to find an app that will open this program cisco.cucsf and the only option is to go to the Microsoft store and look for an app. When you do that, it comes back and says it cannot find an app to open the program.
I did an uninstall and then reinstalled but nothing changed. The CUPC client worked fine on the previous Windows 10 TP builds.
If anyone has any suggestions to try I will be glad to give it a try.

Not sure what you mean??? CUPS is by no means meant to work over Windows, my guess is you're actually trying to refer to CUPC (Cisco Unified Personal Communicator), and that is really not that surprising, we've already phased out of CUPC and moved on to Jabber clients.
CUPC is not even supported on Windows 8, it's expected it won't work on any newer releases.

Jaime, you are correct. I meant CUPC. I have corrected the original post. I should probably wait until after I have had a few cups of coffee before I type up things.
It worked fine on all the TP's up to the 10041 release.
I have not had any luck moving people from CUPC to Jabber. All the functionality that we use is available on the CUPC client, without the hassle of dealing with Jabber. I have to agree with them. I had to load Jabber on this machine for testing and was reminded very quickly how horrible it is.
