WinFax can not work with ATA

Hi,

CallManager 3.3(4), 2651XM voice gateway with H323 protocol, Sccp ATA image and configured fax pass-through on voice gateway and ata.

The customer has the WinFax installed on a PC with fax modem, and the modem is connected with ATA.

When reveing fax from outside of PSTN, each time some of the received pages are truncated although the report of the sending fax says OK.

Does anyone know which should I be aware of the configuration in this scenario?

What speed does the Winfax modem run at ? ATAs reliably work at 14.4 kbps.

Lots of things could break it; which version IOS is the 2561XM running, are we talking PRI or analog? Which model ATA exactly, and what version code is the ATA running...best to open a TAC case, this can be difficult to track down.

I have a CAT4000 cm 3.3(3) and the fax works so good but when I try to connect with a modem its doesn work!!!

Other things is that I can conect so model of ATA 186

We opened a TAC Case, the TAC Engieer said that ATA with fax modem combination does not support.

He suggested us to use FXS instead of ATA to connect to Fax modem.

We will try.
