Failed to access admin page using Unity admin account.

I have got following error message:

" Access denied

Your Windows Domain Account [ ] is not associated with a Unity Subscriber.

************************************

You cannot access the Unity System Administration web pages.

Please see your system administrator for more details. "

** I noticed that my domain account is missing in the"[ ]" after "Your Windows Domain Account".

This happens to AA login attempts too.

In event viewer, there is a entry "Gateway FindCsComponentsEx failed [, 0x80070005] (caller is denied access)." when this happens.

Has anyone met this problem before?

Any thoughts?

Hello -

My first thought is to check the COS you have defined for you (and your users). Can you get access to the SA from the local server - it's on the desktop. As a starting point, I would check the COS for the Default Administrator. Typically there are two subscribers associated with that COS - EAdmin and the Unity installer account. If you can get this far, you could temporarily add your own subscriber as a default admin under the section Subscribers - Assign more subscribers. I would also check the COS that has been assigned to your subscribers and see if it permits access to the SA and AA? Check for Licensed Features and ActiveAssistant should be checked. As an example of how these can be customized, we created a UnitySuperUser COS for our Unity admins, i.e. that need access to SA/AA and the ability to update Unity CallHandlers etc. For our Help Desk, which only needed authorization to reset people's passwords, we designed a COS for them.

Hope that helps! Ginger
