Has anyone used the C9300 series switch as a customer premise equipment (CPE) edge device capable of supporting eBGP peering with the service provider (SP) ?

Not seen any use case come across myself ( we always prefer to have CPE as Router) but I do not see any issue here Cat 9300 capable of handling eBGP - since this is the recommended device  border router in SD-Access deployment (make sure you have the right License to get the features)

What cisco router would you recommend that has sufficient memory to support at least 30K IPv4 routes and 3K IPv6 routes?

I really appreciate you answering my questions, I'm basically tasked to build a network from the ground up and I'm looking for some device recommendations.

The router mainly depends on the bandwidth you need to choose the model, most of the models support BGP kind of routes you looking to serve.
