I have a nexus 9300 (N9K-C93180YC-FX) and looking to reduce latency for high priority TCP traffic in and HPC environment (48 nodes connected to a single nexus 9300 switches). While running our application we intermittently see cases where the high priority traffic experiences additional latency on the order of tens of milliseconds. Some of this traffic is very small so I'm assuming it's getting delayed while the switch is processing a burst of the non-priority traffic. Currently, the high priority traffic coming into the switch isn't marked, but I have the ability to mark it using DSCP. Could someone help me with the configuration required to process the incoming/outgoing traffic marked with DSCP so that it has a higher priority over the rest of the traffic and thus would hopefully not get delayed?
