Hi Omar,
I suggest using DCNM 5.2 for managing these devices. DCNM has more deeper integration with these nexus devices. I have no idea about LMS 4.0 and its features. Installing DCNM and LMS together should work though we are not officially supporting it.
What specific features is customer looking for from the NMS ?
Thanks

Hi Omar,
DCNM supports the following features
- Automatic network discovering and real- time topology.
- Network anomaliy detection (threshold, alarms, errors, ...) --> As of now DCNM acts as syslog receiver but not SNMP traps.
- Securised acces and rights managment
- Quick, simple qnd transparent deployment
- Monitoring WAN bandwith usage
- Provide network map
- Support several network unit
- Secure config distribution
- Support 200 devices
We have plans to add rest of the features in the forthcoming releases. So I would suggest DCNM is the way to go for your customer. They should be having 90% of the features they have asked for in DCNM one year from now.

Hi,
DCNM supports all Nexus platforms (Nexus 7000, 5000, 2000, Nexus 4000, Nexus 1000v, Nexus 1010). The next release (DCNM 5.2) which will be available in a week's time will also support Catalyst 6500 and Nexus 3000.
Thanks,
Ravikumar

Thanks a lot Reswaran,
I will havea new DATA CENTER equipped with nexus 2232TP, 2248PP, 5548P and Cisco 6509-E. I have some questions about the management platform:
1) Can the LMS 4.0 manage deeply those devices? the customer works actually with LMS 3.2, so can we just do an upgrade to LMS 4.0 or offer a new license?
2) Can we install both platforms DCNM and LMS 4.0 in the same server if the server has enough capacity?
Regards,
