DCNM Session Expires

Is there a way to keep my DCNM session from expiring and forcing me to log back in.  Makes it difficult to manage a network when your session expires.

Hi,

You can try the following:

1. From the DCNM WebUI, Admin --> Server Properties. Search for 'timeout' and set the time for 3600 seconds. This page should be tied to the server.properties file. You might want to double check that the file has been updated after a reboot.

2. Next, change the <Session-timeout>x<session-timeout> parameter in the file, $INSTALLDIR\dcm\jboss-4.2.2.GA\server\fm\deploy\jboss-web.deployer\conf\web.xml This one can be set to 60 minutes , server reboot.

Thanks Manish,  but I'm not finding the web.xml file for dcm

Can you check  Sessiontimeout in web.xml under the following path

[DCNM_HOME]/jboss*/server/fm/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/conf

Manish
