Hello

I am in the design phase in which our customer wants to interconnect two datacenter using fabricpath, OTV is not an option cause they literally wants all the vlans to be in the two DC. What is more they now have Avaya doing something similar with Fabricpath. What makes me think about is the restrictions that Fabricpath has when connecting L1. I am aware how FP works so which are the options that will work when connecting at L1. VPLS, MPLS, Lan to LAN, etc.

If you want to extend FP across datacenters l1 connectivity needs to be dark fiber between the sites.

When you say they want to extend all vlans how many vlans is that ? as of NXOS 6.2 number of vlans you can extend jumped from 256 to 1500 per system
