FEX connection model

Hi, according to the cisco docs, there are 2 FEX connections models : static-pinning and port-channel.

But what type of connection is it when you have only one fabric uplink and several host ports (3 for example)? I will have this situation for some months before I buy a second Nexus 5624Q and do vPC.

If you only have a single connection between FEX and parent switch, you can only use the single interface for pinning. If you have multiple interfaces, you can use port-channel.
