HSRP between 2 vPC pairs

Hi, I would like to configure HSRP for 4 routers, 2 N5624Q in a vPC pair and 2 other 5624Q in another vPC pair.

How can I do that ?

I use the same group of course, but do I need to do a different configuration or I do as if it was 4 independant switches ?

I can't test it right now that's why I'm asking.

Hello Jeremy,

Yes you can do it, but only the router with HSRP higher priority will forward packets.
For HSRP you will have, active, standby, listen, listen.

Remember, when you configure HSRP with vPC both switches will forward packets.

What is your design? 4 switches are in the same DC ?

Technically you can connect End switch with 4 upstream switches in VPC mode as long as you connect to two separate VPC domain. For example VLAN 10-20 for one VPN domain and VLAN 30-20 for another VPC domain. So far HSRP is concern one pair of VPC will support, but you if you think to of using one VLAN across all four switches that's not possible.
