N55-M160L3 - Nexus 5000

could someone help me with a question regarding N55-M160L3 card 

i have 2 nexus 5596up in pair on vpc with 2 x  n2k-cc248tp hanging off  and to do layer 3 routing  will  i need 2 x N55-M160L3 card in either switch in case of failure ??

am sure you we do need 2 cards but need to double check

You would need N55-M160L3 or N55-M160L3-V2 modules to do L3 functionality in your switches.
