Nexus 1010 CIMC Serial over LAN connection

I have connected to a 1010 appliance via SSH to the CIMC & then isues the "connect host" command to get onto the console.

This method then disables all output from the actual console connection.

When i disconnect from the CIMC, how do i recover the console connection?

Hello Colin,

Nexus 1010 only uses for serial port for console messages. On the KVM console or monitor attached to VGA port, it would be displaying message console is blocked an to use SoL.

After closing SSH session, are you able to re-connect to console via SoL ?

Problem is that after i enable SOL via CIMC & then connect, the console is disabled.

If i then disconnect, i cannot reuse the console until i disable SOL via the CIMC.

Is there a command or break sequence to recover the console?

Is it possible to have SOL enabled & still use the console as well?
