Hi,

I have two Nexus 5000 connected using two Ten GB interfaces. I have two 2K, one connected to only one 5K and the other connected to the other 5K.

Also I have two equipments connected to the Nexus 5000 one to each 5K.

The Nexus 5K is also connected to 6500 switch.

The question is :

How the traffic go from the servers connected to the 2K to the server connected to the 5K, the 5K can pass traffic under the Vpc peer-link interface?.

The peer-link between the Nexus can process traffic as a normal link?.

Thanks and best regards,

Mauricio

The peer-link does forward normal traffic as well. Usually the best practice is to minimize such traffic but in the case you mentioned server to server traffic will need to traverse the peer-link.
