I have issues with one of my Nexus pair devices 7018. We have edge switches connected to the nexus pair in vpc but the clients connected to edge switches are not able to access random applications whose traffic is going through N7K-1 and clients whose traffic is going through N7K-2 are working fine. In order to resolve the issue we had to shut down all edge switches interface going through N7K-1 . Can anybody tell me any reason for it.
Configuration of both Nexus's are exactly same and same is the case with consistency parameters. As I have said earlier not all users are having this issue, those whose traffic is going through N7K-1 are having issues. Can you let me know how to check symmetric/asymmetric flow in Nexus?
I was wondering if this could be related to not configuring peer-gateway under vpc domain? Normally peer-gateway is used in the case of SAN and F5.
