Nexus 7k architecture

Hi,

I need your help, I have 4 nexus 7k, two 7009 and two 7706, to upgrade the infrastructure on my corporate network.
We will use 7706 for core 7009 for distribution, and my doubt is in setup.
I can use each of the blocks in vPC or just distribution and CORE maintains in L3.
In Core I will connect the Internet Routers (2x ASR1002x), corporate network Router (2x ASR 1002x), Firewall (4x 5555), Big-IP F5, and three server farm with C6013, NX5K, NX9K.

What you recommend.

Hi ,

Scenario A and B is having a difference of not having VPC benefits, so better to go with A.

and you can connect all layer routing at Core layers and check the placement for LB and Firewalls.

If LB require to load balance traffic which is connected at distribution then connect with port channel at distribution layer and routing of VIP subnets.

I hope distribution layer is hosting gateway and routing with core layer.

Don't use routing protocol to exchange over vPC peer links rather create a dedicated PC between devices.

Thanks for your cooperation,
In the distribution layer we will connect 18 access switches installed on the floors of the building in Layer 2, the only equipmantos connected in layer 3, point to point will be connected to CORE.

Hi ,

It should be fine , distribution layer will become gateway and routing to external world.

Just have look on over subscription ratio with access layer to distribution ....
