I am confused when they describe the single Lane of a bundled QSFP+ or QSFP28. Does it operate like an etherchannel where bandwidth increase but a single session will get max speed of a single link?
Example:
(a) QSFP+ can support 1x 40Gbps or 4x 10Gbps
(b) QSFP28 can support 1x 100Gbps, 2x 50Gbps or 4x 25Gbps
When it comes to the bundled link the Bandwidth is 100Gbps or 40Gbps, but a single sessions will never use more then 25Gbps or 40Gbps? Would a single session ever use 100Gbps or 40Gbps?
