question about module replacement in N7K

I'm using n7k + F2 I/O module. 

I had configured 2 vdcs in N7K

vdc test-a

allocate interface e1/1-24

vdc test-b

allocate interface e1/25-40

In vdc's, there are some configuration.

feature lacp, feature interface-vlan, feature bgp, some config about interface.

my F2 cards had fault, so I decide RMA.

Question :

If F2 card replace same F2 card, will admin vdc's interface allocation configuration be deleted?

or

all configuration will be same after replacement?

Hi Min,

VDC configuration will not change if you replace the F2 card with similar F2 card.

You can configure the limit-resource module-type command only from the VDC configuration mode and not from a VDC resource template.
When interfaces in different VDCs share the same port ASIC, reloading the VDC (with the reload vdc command) or provisioning interfaces to the VDC (with the allocate interface command) might cause short traffic disruptions (of 1 to 2 seconds) for these interfaces. If such behavior is undesirable, make sure to allocate all interfaces on the same port ASIC to the same VDC.
