hello,

So i have the following scenario:

Primary Data Center:

2 Spines and 4 leaf

Secondary Data center:

1 spine and 2 leaf.

Am trying to do a Vxlan Multi-site.

i have a SP link with and l3vpn that give me comunication from site to site,so i wanted to know if is posible to do the Multi-site with inly that or do i need something extra and can someone show me the multi-site config?

Because i dont have a route server and was planning to interconnect them via BGP using one LEAF in each Site on the secondary site, the BGW is the one that have de L3-out links to.

so any sugestion?

THANKS FOR THE HELP

if the sites are layer 3 reachable, you can use the multisite feature. you will need to configure border gateways in a multisite deployment;
note the licensing requirements detailed here-> https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus9000/sw/92x/vxlan-92x/configuration/guide/b-cisco-nexus-9000-series-nx-os-vxlan-configuration-guide-92x/b_Cisco_Nexus_9000_Series_NX-OS_VXLAN_Configuration_Guide_9x_chapter_01000.html#ref...

above link also has the config example for border gateways. if you are interested in further reading about the packet walk and other details, you will be able to gather more details from here-> https://www.ciscolive.com/c/dam/r/ciscolive/emea/docs/2019/pdf/BRKDCN-2035.pdf

let me know if you face any issues while configuring the multisite feature in vxlan. glad to help you out.
