X2-10GB-SR LED status

Hi, 

 

I have this X2-10GB-SR on a cigesm switch port Te is used as uplink yet i now see the X2-10GB-SR LED status as amber and the port goes to err-disable. Is the X2-10GB-SR faulty?

Its possible. Have you swapped it with a known working X2? What was the outcome?

 

If this worked before and now does not, I would suspect it could be hardware. If this is a new setup, I suspect it could be config related issue.

Hi, thanks a lot for replying. it used to work before and I do not have a
spare one.I am trying to make sure that it is faulty before ordering a new
one.Is there a command that can help find out if it is really faulty?
