1000Base-ZX specification. IEEE?

Does anyone know where the 1000Base-ZX specification comes from. I can find the -SX and -LX definitions in the IEEE 802.3 standard, but I can not find any references to the origin of 1000Base-ZX or 1000BASE-LH.

It appears to have been incorporated into IEEE 802.3-2002.

I have the PDF file 802.3-2002.pdf from IEEE, but there is no single occurrence of the character combination "zx" anywhere in the 1538 page document. -SX and -LX is defined in there however.
