the PA is good on 7206VXR, but crash VIP4-50:

Have you tried to reseat the VIP ?
Is there any other PA ( besides the PA-OC3-SMI )
inserted in the other slot of the same VIP ?

the vip4-50 can be used with other pa, such as 4E1G:

In the previous output you had attached, in slot 0 you had a VIP4-50,
the memory size in slot 0 was unknown, and the PA was not recognized by the router.
In the last output you provided, in slot 0 you have a VIP4-80 (not a VIP4-50),
the memory size of the card is known, and the PA is recognized by the router.
Is this a production router or a lab router?
