I just upgraded the memory on two 2500 routers.
On one router, I get a message I didn't get before:
8192K bytes of processor board System flash partition 1 (Read ONLY)
8192K bytes of processor board System flash partition 2 (Read/Write)
I was expecting it to say simply;
16000K bytes of processor board System flash
I put one 8MB SIMM in each of the board's slots. My other routers don't separate Flash into partitions and designate them as Read-only or read/write.
Did I do something wrong or do I have some bad Flash?
Thanks in advance for your help.
