2900 XL EN Reboots after I disconnect from a console session using Hyperterminal. Can someone please tell me how to approach this.

If you have access to bug toolkit, check if there are any known issues with the hardware and software version that you are using.

Is the switch re-booting or is it going into ROMMON mode?

Resolved in version 12.0(5)XW

Upgrade to current version of IOS.
