We have been running 12.1(11)EA1a for a little while and I have notice that
memory usage is slowly crawling up on the switches. I was wondering if any one else has notice this as well? Also since the IOS takes up so much memory on the switch to start does any one have any suggestions on services that should be cut to save memory?
If you are running TACACS and accounting, disable it. Also, if your ports are set as dynamic, that will cause a problem also. Version 12.1(12c)EA1 has some bug fixes related to this.
