3620 sustained traffic with FE

Hi,

I need some info on the 3620 supported traffic levels with the 2FE2W module. Testing it for use in a backup environment without ACLs I have reached 17 Mbps sustained traffic level, CPU usage tops 30 %, that drops to around 4 Mbps, CPU tops 10 % using ACLs (they are pretty long) IP CEF is enabled globally and on the interfaces.

Are these numbers true? I'm puzzeled that these numbers aren't any higher or that the router doesn't seem heavier loaded. There are no buffer overflows no errors, nothing to indicate that this "slowdown" is caused by hardware.

I know that the 3620 doesn't support 100 Mbps on its interfaces but 17 Mbps and CPU usage of only 30 % seems too little for me.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks,,

Niels Sommer
