3750 in a Fiber Optic Ring

Dear Experts,

we have 8 sites in one Fiber Optic Ring the Maximum distance between sites is 20 Km

can we install in each site 3750 switch with 4 SFP-based Gigabit Ethernet ports and use 2 GLC-ZX-SM

one for East direction and one for West to get closed ring (loop)?

if yes. are there any restriction on the Number of Switches on one ring

whts the kinda of traffic ur goin to push in this ring ??

is it gonna be simple data traffic or any BTV,VOD traffic (Multicast) involved in this ring ??

Coz those applications are b/w greedy and u need to make sure that u hv got enough b/w to cater..

do keyin more inputs abt ur setup to hve clarity on wht u r trying to do...
