4013 SUPII Engine isn't showing WS-X4306 Module

I have Catalyst 4506 Switch with 4013 SUP II Engine

and 7.6(6) version Catos.

Problem: I inserted WS-X4306 Module.

In the show module command, its showing " empty ".

The module is shwowing neither amber color nor green color.

The module is not at all coming online

Please get back on ASAP.

We have an issue due to which certain WS-X4306 would not get recognized prior to CAT OS 8.3(1). So either

1)Upgrade CAT OS to something higher. I would suggest 8.4(6)GLX.

2)If you cannot upgrade, have the board RMAed.
