4500 series security options

I have a 4507R with dual Sup4 running the enhanced IOS version 12.2.25. What are my best options for implementing VLAN security? There doesn;t seem to be a firewall feature set for this platform and I just discovered that it also does not support reflexive access lists. Perhaps it time to upgrade to a 6500.
