4506 Weird Switch Port Behavior

bilking

I have a 4506 running 7.6.2. I have the following blades running in the chassis. WS-X4013 - SupII, and 4 WS-X4448-GB-RJ45 - 10/100/1000 blades. I have several devices on multiple blades that will not connect at 100mbs / Full Duplex. The devices show connected but there is no mac address and windows gui shows cable disconnected. The switch port speed needs to be in auto or 10mbs to operate. There are existing devices hard set that have been working fine for months. No errors in the log, there are multiple ports showing the same number of xmit errors. The switch is not expreiencing slowness at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

I digged into this a bit. The fix for the following bug which went into 7.6(2) seems to have introduced couple issues

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCdy44221

For example, the following bug was introduced due to the above

I suggest that you upgrade to 7.6(10)
