Hello,
My company just purchased a 5505, with a sup2 MMF(WS-X5506)and four WS-X5224. With this hardware, the system boots fine. When I installed a sup3 NFFC (WS-X5530), remaining hardware same, it won't boot.
Console shows:

and that's as far as it goes. I didn't drop the "ne" after Do, they don't show up, and I have to shut the power off, and turn on to regain control.

We have a bunch of 2900's, but this is the first 5505 the company has thrown at me. While I can usually solve 2900 problems, I am inexperienced on the 5500 and blades.
I would appreciate any and all help.
Thanks a million for any help, and your time,
Jeff

Hey Jeff...You may be running an old version of catos..you need to verify that your current version of catos / boot version....will support that sup3 module, if not then you need to upgrade to at least 6.4(17)....as long as you have at least 64megs of dram.
