Hi,
Is the supervisor DRAM at 6500 used when running integrated (native) ios?
Having 6500 with sup2/msfc2/pfc2.
When displaying show version, I see the DRAM for the msfc2.

Yes.
First type 'remote login switch', then do a 'show version' to see the DRAM of the supervisor.

Do you know what part of the sup is using the dram of the sup? - Does the PFC2 use it?
So when we need to upgrade the sup with more memory, we need to upgrade both the sup and the msfc?

Depends what you're doing. The Supervisor RAM hold the CEF table, 128MB should be plenty unless you're running BGP.

the fib table is held on the PFC tcam, not on the supervisor DRAM.
the dram on the sup is used to by processes managing the whole switch hardware, as well as Layer two features.
