Hello,
Seems to be image in the PCMCIA flash (slot0:) got corrupted.
Check whether flash card sitting propely in the slot0:, may be you can pull out and inset and see. If problem remains, re-copy the image to flash and see.
Are there any changes made recently to this switch?

Hi,
0x102 and 0x2102 serve the same purpose here. So it wont help you.the last 4 bits decied the boot source. here 2 to F indicate to boot from the source specified by " boot system" commands.
If you can see the log, it is trying to boot from slot0: image, however it is failing to load the image.
Could you please tell me the history of this incident? are there changes made before you face this issue?

Hi,subbarrao.s,
Thanks for your explanations. The customer told me the PCMCIA card is brandnew.Formatting or copying IOS both runs properly.Only when loaded, the problem comes out, failling !They paied attetion to the "autoload"problem several months ago when they upgrade the IOS for security .But it could still running normally for a while by then.Autoloading 3 times one day even no traffic on it at all.But now,the status are unbearable.Too frequently autoloaded.Hard or soft problem? What's wrong with it?
Enclosed the early info he gave me.

Hello,
The log file 6509-ios14-030305.TXT shows that, Sup is failing to load from slot0: image. If you can see the "boot system" commands. The next source is Sup-bootflash:, so it is successful in loading that image and System is completely functional. However this code older than slot0: code
Now,have you tried booting the switch by removeing PCMCIA flash card from the switch slot? From the log file 6509-ios14-030305.TXT, it shows that you have a valid image in Sup-bootflash. If there is no flash in slot0: it should boot from the second source, i.e sup-boot flash. Try this once. And confirm whether there any vaid image in sup bootflash.
I think your custromer wanted to upgrade IOS from 121-8bE14 to 121-19.E1. Is nt it?
BTW, what is the size of the PCMCIA flash card? Is it 16MB?
History is still not clear. Could you tell me clearly, what images does customer upgraded during that time and where?
