Hi y'all
I'm trying to figure out the differences between the 827 and 827H. So far I understand the 827H has 4 10baseT ports, and comes standard with 32mb DRAM instead of 16mb. What else? Does the 827H come standard with IP/FW?
Thanks
John

Hi,
Thanks for the information. I had seen the chart you reference, however none of the references tell me what base software release comes with the 827h, whether it be IP or IP/FW.
When I use the configuration tool, it indicates that IP/FW is included, but the product literature doesn't.

Well the 827H I ordered and arrived with a preinstalled IOS 12.2 release, and the websetup tool had "enable firewall" built in.
There was a considerable amount of confusion around this between cisco reseller helpline, and my distributor, but I am happy to report that the 827H I ordered did in fact come with IP/FW, 8mb flash and 32mb of DRAM.
