about comfiguring the IP addresses of each work station

pls. help me on how to configure or to determine the IPs of each work station, give me some examples. thank u very much.

Hi,

For configuring the IP, it depends if you want to configure the PC for static or dynamic IP. For dynamic IP.s you need to have a DHCP server which will provide the IP's dynamically to the hosts. for configuring the Static IP's you need to go to the adapter properties and then to the TCP/IP properties for the same and assign the IP/Subnet Mask, Gateway, DNS IP's.

You can check the IP address by going to the command prompt and using the command " ipconfig ".
