Acces Network for ADSL Services

Hi there,

I need to design an access network for 48 ports ADSL, using as CPE SOHO77, and DSLAM 6260. My question is: If is extremally neccesary use a 7200 or 6400 as aggregator router?, I need a low cost solution, could I use a 2600 or 3600 as aggregator router?. Thanks...

It depends on what feature(s) you want to utilize (PPPoA/PPPoE, PPPoEoE/PPPoEoVLAN, RBE (Route Bridged Encapsulation)—RFC-1483, PPPoA VPI/VCI accounting, PPPoA/PPPoE autodetect, L2TP, etc). Some of these are supported on the 3660 platform, but your best bet is to check the feature navigator to see what platforms support the feature you are interested in:
