hi

this is should've been a very easy task, all i need is to add new interface to my cisco pix, configure it and let few of my servers go through that new interface... now instead of all this here is what i've got..

i inserted new interface to my pix then after my pix loaded up in "sh int" it shows that my 3rd interface (existing) is down, or actually it shows that interface is up but line is down, and my 4th (just added interface) doesn't shows in the list at all.

what am i missing?

i though it's just plug and configure ip and thats it.. no?

Hi

Just to start with give show version and chek whether your new interface is getting detected by the pix or not ..
