We want to use LRE in a hotel environment and we also want to implement IP Telephony. Do we need to remove the PABX and use a Call Manger instead? If we can remove the PABX, where do connect the Callmanager?

If your IP telephony is Cisco AVVID solution, yes you'll need Cisco CallManager. CallManager is a software application which runs on Windows 2000 server and approved hardware. You can connect it to any 10/100 port on your switch

How about the LRE solution? How would be able to control the calls? Do we still need CPE's to connect to the analog fones to have data and voice at the same time on each room?
