I am trying to upload the embedded ciscoview to my catalyst 4006 (SUPII+). for some reason I keep getting the following information when I try to install the software.

Cat001#archive tar /xtract tftp://x.x.x.x/Cat4000IOS.v9-0.tar bootflash:cv

Extract directory bootflash:cv is not present

So I thought ahah! I'll just create the cv directory, well when I do that I get this..

Cat001#mkdir

Translating "mkdir"...domain server (x.x.x.x) (x.x.x.x)

% Unknown command or computer name, or unable to find computer address

shouldn't mkdir be a valid command? Here is my show version..

Cat001#show version
